By downloading, accessing, or using ChordLingo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ChordLingo is a music ear training application that helps users:

• Develop pitch recognition skills
• Learn to identify musical intervals
• Track progress through a ranking system
• Compete on daily leaderboards
• Access AI-powered personalized training

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

You may use the App as a guest or create an account. When creating an account:

• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

Guest Accounts

Guest accounts have limited functionality. Progress may be lost if you uninstall the app without linking to a permanent account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to manipulate rankings or leaderboards
• Use automated systems or bots
• Reverse engineer or modify the App
• Share your account with others
• Harass or abuse other users
• Submit false or misleading information

5. Intellectual Property

All content in ChordLingo, including but not limited to:

• App design and user interface
• Audio samples and sound effects
• Graphics, logos, and mascot (Bee)
• Training algorithms and methodologies

...is owned by ChordLingo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

6. User Content

Any content you submit (such as usernames) must not:

• Be offensive, hateful, or inappropriate
• Infringe on others' rights
• Contain personal information of others

We reserve the right to remove inappropriate usernames or content.

7. Subscription and Payments

ChordLingo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future:

• Prices will be clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds will be handled according to App Store/Play Store policies

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific learning outcomes
• Compatibility with all devices

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChordLingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse or harass other users

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ChordLingo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you downloaded ChordLingo from the Apple App Store:

• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content

• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
